A new portal for Academos

Academos is growing! With more than 18,000 participants annually, e-mentoring is a proven approach. Yet the mentoring relationship is not for all young people. Academos has decided to help students explore careers before they engage in them by providing access to interactive content to help students learn about occupations in another way. To make sure we were making the right choices, we consulted young people by means of a survey and focus group with Collège français de Montréal students, whom we thank for their help. These are the new tools: video capsules on occupations, profiles of mentors with written first-person accounts and videos, a corporate blog, and a section called Share your dream, where young people will be able to discuss their interest in an occupation.
